We have a RS/6000 box and the following is interesting:

syntax: msgchk [switches] [users ...]
  switches are:
  -(help)

version: MH [6.6 UCI] [RAND] [IBM AIX 3.1]

IBM seem to have provided 6.6 themselves...
OK it's not 6.7.1 :-)
