Err.. not exactly correct.  I use the 800x600x16 mode for windows under
Desqview, and have no problem switching back/forth.  The screen contents
are not trashed for either in either direction.  To do this, run the 
Desqview ChangeProgram option, select F1=Advanced, and set the number
of graphics pages to "4".
