I am using QuickC 2.5 on a 386 machine with an 80 MEG harddisk formatted into 3 partitions 32, 32, 16 MEG respectively. My problem is when I compile an link a project within the QC environment it comes back at me with: error L1230: invalid SELF-REL FIXUP(tar) filename.obj etc... This problem occurrs only with a specific file and ONLY on this particular machine. I have no problem on a 286 machine with the identical HD and partitioning. If I delete the .ilk file belonging to the project everything goes smooth. After a while my HD shows, using Norton Disk Dr., a number of lost files. Can anyone try to explain to me what is happening or a workaround?
