To those of you who received the message below and put some thought into it
and perhaps even responded with suggestions and help .. MY APOLOGIES!  I seem
to really be having trouble with only one document, namely, doc/ps/quipu-new.ps.  And since there is an ASCII version of this already
it is now of considerably less concern that I print from the .ps file.  (It is
only a curiosity at this point that has left us a bit puzzled.)

Other major documents are printing OK.

Has any one been successful in printing out the quipu docs from the .ps files
in isode-interim?  Neither I nor another colleague have been successful at 
this.  All we get is the text printed out (mostly) one word per line.

Try, for example, isode-interim/doc/ps/quipu-new.ps ... not being familiar with
PostScript I have been unable to "debug" the file.

Any help or suggestions welcome!

We don't seem to have a local copy of TeX so I can't start it from scratch.
