Message-ID: <9104091856.AA29214@snll-arpagw.llnl.gov> Date: 9 Apr 91 18:56:21 GMT Sender: news@shelby.stanford.edu (USENET News System) Organization: Internet-USENET Gateway at Stanford University Lines: 9 I am having a problem with kinit. If I bring up an xterm window on a Sun and enter the kinit command, everything works as expected. Now, I run emacs so that it brings up a separate W-Window in which to edit my files. When I quit from emacs, kinit no longer works. It says: kinit: failed to get password Nothing I do will clear up the problem for that window, although I can bring up new windows that work correctly up until emacs is started from them. Has anyone seen this problem? Is there a fix to either kinit or emacs?
