Ambulance Lines: 18 I will be running either PPP or CSlip (any other suggestions for compressed IP over serial lines) over a 2400 bps modem link (yuck - I know, but I am a poor college student) Using compressed SLIP, will MNP5 or V42.bis provide additional througput? If not, what would I be better running - CSLIP or like product w/ MNP 4 error correction, MNP 5 w/ regular SLIP, or V42.bis w/ regular SLIP? Please follow-up to me as I do not always get a chance to peruse the news.
