I am looking for a motion equation generation software for a robot/mechanisms .
Say given a link parameter table and all physical specifications, moment of
inertia, mass etc. the generator may generate dynamic motion equations 
symbolically. 

Are there any kind soul to give me a pointer to search for a software ?
I would prefer public domain software. I know Dr. Kane at Stanford developed
one on a PC. But are there any UNIX version/bigger machine versions of his
software ? I am pretty sure that there a several softwares already in use.
