Lines: 17 Hi, I would like some detailed info (i.e. more than `man timed`) on how timed sets all the clocks _and_ how the rearbitration works (the source to timed would suffice :-). The reason is that we have a [small] network of UNIX boxes which have to be synchronised to a connected master clock (a serial source of regular 'the time is ...' messages). Anyone else done similar in any other way? cheers ... -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matt Atterbury [matt@bacchus.esa.oz] Expert Solutions Australia, Melbourne UUCP: ...!uunet!munnari!matt@bacchus.esa.oz "klaatu barada nikto" or: ...!uunet!murtoa!bacchus.esa.oz!matt "consider this a divorce" ARPA: matt%bacchus.esa.oz.AU@uunet.UU.NET "life? don't talk to me about life!"
