I am looking for Unix-based software with capability identical or similar to
that of bitnet's LISTSERV to automatically maintain mailing lists and supply
information and files via e-mail requests.

Any pointers to either public domain or commercial software would be appreciated.

Please reply via email; if there is enough interest, I will post a summary
article.
