Sure, it's "just fine" with 8MB... until you start running something else and NeXTStep gets swapped out. I'm not defending X Windows either. They're both memory pigs. Memory is cheap. It's now less than $200 for 4MB, and prices are still dropping. It's almost like complaining that someone is wasting paper clips. Who cares? -Mike
