Um, the purpose of a screen blanker is to reduce the amount of time pixels are active. Flashing a pixel on/off at a 50% duty cycle will burn a pixel just as well as turning the pixel on constantly, just not as quickly. A screen blanker should *blank* the screen, not draw a pretty pattern that does just as nice a job of burning as an image of a window.
