The team is strong and does good work. This is my point. I think there have been problems at the strategy level, and budget. If CDTV is cutting deeply into hardware Engineering resources, or is screwing up the future OS enhancement (CDTV runs V1.3), then there is a very significant "strategy" being played. Whether that's true, and whether it's a bright move or not, remain to be seen. But I get the feeling that Irving wouldn't be in the computer business if he didn't have to be.
