  With the new Commodore HD drive coming out, I was wondering what they 
have done that AE failed to do ?  I have heard that AE drives can not
read 1.44 MB disks but have always wondered why, since their unformatted
storage capacity is approximately 1.52 MB (?)
  I know this was discussed once before, but I only caught the tail end
of it and at the time didn't own an AE drive (but I do now.)
