I would like to say thanks to all in net.land, especially to Dave Haynie and the 3000 Posse at CBM, who replied to me via post and email about removable media drives. However, I am equally dismayed by the lack of scruples or general ingonrance on the part of drive controller makers and vendors who emphatically told that I would need another controller to run the Ricoh which I bought. As it turns out, the drive runs perfectly on my machine, using th native controller. This has seriously undermined my trust in some Amiga vendors and manufacturers. Hopefully other won't get burnt by misleading advice. ****************************************************************************** HA HA! YOU THINK THIS IS THE REAL .SIGNATURE? IT IS!
