I called Commotech in San Diego, California and asked about the procedure for getting a 286 bridgeboard. The thy said I would have to buy a whole cpu system to get it. I asked to speak to the manager and he said the same thing. I told him I heard it is no longer required to buy a cpu. He said he'd call Commodore. Two days later I called back and he said he called Commodore and that I *would* have to buy a cpu to get it. Soooooo, what's the real way? I've read here un Usenet a posting that said it is no longer required to buy a cpu to get individual accessories, like a 286 bridgeboard. Is Howard Diamond the head of the educational discount? Please help.
