A friend of mine is running something called (I think) >Dmouse. Also, AmigaDOS 2.0 comes with it's >own blanker program, which you can start manually or make happen on start- >up if you want. It's also programmable for time-out. It puts various types of animations on the screen while the screen is 'blanked' to avoid monitor burn-in. If this person is looking for something along the lines of After Dark, I think he wants something that does more than just turn the screen black or put a few moving lines on the screen. After Dark comes with a large number of modules that put everything from color flying toasters to moving skylines of cities to shuffling pieces of the screen around (in a puzzle fashion) while the screen is blanked. A lot of this simple animations are quite fun to watch. Unfortunately, I have never come across anything coming close to resembling this for the Amiga. > >-- >Jim Seymour | Medar, Inc. >....!uunet!medar!jseymour | 38700 Grand River Ave. >jseymour@medar.com | Farmington Hills, MI. 48331 >CIS: 72730,1166 GEnie: jseymour | FAX: (313)477-8897 -MB- ---------------------------------------------------------- / Marc Barrett | BITNET: XGR39@ISUVAX.BITNET / / ISU COM S Student | Internet: XGR39@CCVAX.IASTATE.EDU / ----------------------------------------------------------
