I'll consider it, but I think something like this needs some discussion. Here are some things: 1. Who's going to make up the list? Tad? He's awfully busy already. I'm certainly not going to do it. 2. Exactly what information should go on the list? I'm not going to post a list of file names with no descriptions. 3. Where will the extra information come from? The uploaders? Tad? Someone else? 4. Is comp.sys.amiga.announce the best group for this? Would another one be more appropriate? 5. Is it a good idea in the first place? With the current system, there is only a transmission when someone is really going to look to see what's there. On Usenet, the thing will get broadcast all over the place no matter what. 6. Right now, I will put up an announcement of your upload if you wrote whatever you uploaded. Could this policy be extended or changed in some manner? 7. What am I forgetting? It's always something.
