In one of the previous message on this discussion regarding Commodore stock, it has been stated that Commodore stock was released in 1985 and its issued price was $4 per share. I doubt very much the stock dropped from $90 to $4. I tend to see the other story as valid; that it was issued at $4, climbed to $19 over a period of 6 years, and is now shooting up with this Amiga convention (to which I will be leaving in 5 minutes).
