Yes, I had the same problem.  If you are running on a A3000 with WB 2.0x, the
problem is a bug in the shell.  It is a redirection bug (which I reported to
bugs@commodore.com) and can be "gotten-around" by booting up in WB 1.3 and doing
the update.
