I just saw Bob Scheiflers announcement that PEX is available to X Consortium
members and will be part of X11R5 later this year. Will optimized/enhanced
versions be available from HP/Apollo in the near future for the VRX P1-3 and
the DN4500 DVS systems? We have one of the latter and are still using GMR3D
but would like to switch to PEX or PHIGS (yes, I am aware of HP PHIGS 2.0) pretty
soon.
