Don't know the pinout of the C-64, but the 800XL connector supplies +5V
and ground.  If you open your 800XL, it is fairly easy to determine which
pins go to ground and which to +5V.  Of course, you can just buy an XL
power supply from B&C Computervisions.  Last I saw, they were $25.00.
