I am looking into compiling the S statistics package
from AT&T under UMAX4.3R4.1_0.

I went through this exercise several years ago (the "old"
S and UMAX4.2) and remember that not everything worked.

Before diving in and spending lots of time on this, has
anyone else succeeded in getting the June 1989 version
of S up?

Any and all pointers appreciated.
