I finished installing the Transcript postscript interface code, so the lp spooler will use it to talk to the printer. I changed the device file (rs-232 built-in port) to 0x090004. This gets rid of the "cannot open device" message. Now, the system thinks all is honky dory, but the printer just sits idly by (with the message "postscript ready"). When the spooler receives the file, it runs a shell script that opens the port, sets the right "stty" options, and calls a program /usr/local/lib/ps/pscomm (with, among others, the file to print as args) which is supposed to talk to the printer. But, pscomm just runs and no action. I have tried several fixes, to no avail. Any suggestions?
