Lines: 22 Hi I was settting up my com ports in my PC AT clone by editing the CMOS chip. After editing , when I tried to reboot, it refused to do saying system halted. I had to reset the values in 82c235 CMOS chip. Now even though it is working fine , It is reporting only 640 k instead of 1 M. I don't know which bit in the CMOS chip to set , so as to make it access full 1M. Any help is very much appritiated. My configuration is like this IBM PC AT clone 286 computer AMerican Megatrends 286-BIOS 1 M RAM 40 M IDE hard disk ( Seagate) 2 serial, 1 game and i parellel port 3 1/2" and 5 1/4" Drives ( Both high Densities) Oak Tech.
