It has |4MB of ram and I am running IBM DOS 4.0 and MS Windows 3.0. AD|Has anyone had any experiences with the new Windows-compatable memory |managers out there like QEMM386, and BlueMax by Qualitas?. BlueMax |seems like the obvious choice, being designed with the ps/2's memory |specifically in mind. I do not use Windows but am using BlueMax. Yes it will compress the BOIS and can also optionally reclaim the space reserved for BASIC. I have heard one report which indicates that BlueMax was able to reclaim more space then QEMM resulting in more DOS space. AD|Do these memory managers actually improve on the performance of |Windows? crashes, sharing violations, etc.?? I would not expect it to improve the performance of windows unless Windows benefits from more low address memory. However, BlueMax is a bit faster than the standard PC-DOS drivers which provide EMS memory. ---
