You can view all of the special characters that are available by using a DA called "Key Caps" that came with your system software. You can get a visual representation by holding down various keys (like the command, option, option-shift etc) For example should you want "um til sobre um a" you would press option-n, a. If you are talking about the accent usage in older Portuguese (of many centuries past) then you are pretty much out of luck as far as I know.
