Thanks to everyone who responded to my query. Although one person had claimed to be able to do this, most lamented the fact that MicroSoft and Silicon Beach (subsumed by Aldus?) no longer have such a working relationship. Only SuperPaint ver. 1.1MS works with the QuickSwitch feature, and even that is no longer bundled with Word 4.0. So much for hot linking graphics to my Word documents. :-( Of course, one could export a 1.1 document from SuperPaint 2.0, but it just doesn't seem worth it... Tom Scavo scavo@cie.uoregon.edu
