Maybe it works with System 7 (it does something like this in the File
Dialog Box). Anyway, for selecting volumes I'd recommend (note the
strategic quotes):

	cd "/mac volume name"    or
	cd ":mac volume name"    and
	cd ":mac volume name:mac folder name"

"/"'s work in place of ":" (which is what the Mac really wants), but
"/" is legit in a Mac file or folder name, so...
