Lines: 28 Hi, I posted a message a while back asking about how to get a Mac SE to see a new Maxtor 96M drive at boot time. Thank you for all of your answers... Here's the result... The Mac looks for a driver on the HD. If there is no suitable driver, than the Mac can't boot off of the HD. I had to buy a program that formats disks and installs a Mac driver. I bought 96Mb Maxtor Lxt-100s with 27ms seek time, voice coil. $299.00 IME Computers 1340 Soldiers Field Road Boston, MA 02135 (617) 254-1700, FAX (617) 254-0392 and a copy of Disk Manager Mac from Ontrack Computer Systems Inc. I bought it through IME computers... $19.00 I hope this helps for the people who sent me mail saying they had the same problems... --Mike mikel@ritcsh.csh.rit.edu
