Well, gee whiz, I didn't think that SUNY had THAT many people beaton computer prices! But seriously, I guess the fact is that we here are lucky. Our program was designed to be a non-profit syste, so we only charge what we have to to pay our own way. Maybe that's not true of your local store. Many campuses do run them on a non-profit basis, but it may cost them more to do business in any given location/ Take Berekely, it just costs more out there, but many of their prices are very close to our, and some less, so I take this to mean that they are non-profit. As for SE/30 prices, well like most places, we dropped quite a bit on the 4/80 version, but only $1.00 on the 1/40. Allen Hsu SUNY At Buffalo P.S.
