Message-ID: <1991Apr09.134058.4217@shl.com> Date: 9 Apr 91 13:40:58 GMT Organization: SHL Systemhouse Inc. Lines: 15 I have a one year old Mac SE with a 40MB internal hard drive from Apple. Lately it has been starting to 'hang' for 10-20 second intervals. During this time, the drive light is on and it sounds like the head is furiously moving back and forth somewhere. If I hit the Mac, or power down the machine, the drive is OK. Any ideas on whether this problem is fixable? Any ideas on *how* I can get it fixed (I don't have AppleCare, of course!).
