Summary: Did I get screwed? Message-ID: <3573@lamont.ldgo.columbia.edu> Date: 5 Apr 91 16:54:35 GMT Sender: news@lamont.ldgo.columbia.edu Distribution: world Organization: Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory Lines: 16 Hello, I just purchased an upgrade to Hypercard 2.0 through MacWharehouse. Then I thumbed through the catalog again and found something called the Hypercard 2.0 Development Kit. I got the upgrade so that I could do scripting, but now I hear that there is a crippled version of Hypercard out there that doesn't allow scripting. Did I just buy the wrong item? Do I need that developers kit to script? I haven't received the upgrade yet, so I can't check this out for myself. Sorry if this is a frequently asked question in this group, but I'd appreciate it if someone would clue me in to what's going on with Hypercard 2.0. I knew this was going to be a bad day when I punched myself in the nose this morning. Dan Quoidbach daniel@lamont.ldgo.columbia.edu
