I have a couple CDEFs I wrote, but whenever I save a DITL that uses
them in ResEdit 2.1? it crashes.

Earlier versions of ResEdit have no problem.

I hope this is a bug in ResEdit cause I can't imagine what my CDEFs do
to cause it. They work fine in various applications.  What aspects of a
CDEF should affect ResEdit.  (and they are 32bit clean CDEFs)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
