In other words, I know how to lock the icon, but I haven't been able to find out how to prevent the dialogue box from appearing. Can I accomplish this using ResEdit? If so, how? If not, do you have another suggestion? (2) prevent a desktop icon from being moved from the desktop. Is there any software available (or other solutions) to achieve this? Thank you in advance for your assistance. -- DON -- SCHILLINGER@mscf.med.upenn.edu -or- SCHILLINGER@a1.mscf.med.upenn.edu
