I thought it might also be of interest to others. We've found a "plug-and-play" trackball for our 4D/25. It plugs into the same port as the optical mouse with no changes necessary. It also has 3 buttons that function the same as the optical mouse. Ergonomically, it leaves something to be desired compared to other trackballs I have seen, but this is the only one we've found for the SGI (except for the expensive SpaceBall). Here's the info: What: Mouse-Trak Model #M5-S.G. for SGI 4D/20 Where: ITAC Systems, Inc. 3121 Benton St. Garland, TX 75042 Price: $199 (June '90) I'm sorry I don't have their phone number anymore. You'll probably have to try Information. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dave Richardson Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory Batavia, IL 60510 (708) 840-3354 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
