I tried to build a new LaTeX format with german hyphenation patterns in 
Textures 1.3 by opening the "lplain" file and typesetting it with the the
VirTeX format. Everything seemed to work fine until I got the following 
error message:
	hyphenation (ghyphen.tex
	! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [pattern memory=20000].
	l.5973 t8erste
		      If you really absolutely need more capacity,
		      you can ask a wizard to enlarge me.
After quitting Textures and giving it 1500k instead of the recommended 1200k
I was surprised to get the following message at the next try:
	hyphenation (ghyphen.tex
	! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [pattern memory ops per langu
	age=255].
	l.5852 8tan8c
		      If you really absolutely need more capacity,
		      you can ask a wizard to enlarge me.
So is there any wizard out there who can help me? (My ghyphen.tex has 
7008 hyphenation patterns. I already tried to split it into several
\patterns sections, but this did not work, either.)
