I am totally unknowing in the area of hard drive trivia. I would like to know 1) if the CDC Wren IV (94171) drive and the Seagate 4376N are EXACTLY the same. In other words. If I buy a Seagate (now that they have bought out Wren) can I install it with no extra work (like adding format.dat entries). and 2) is that a good choice for a drive of this size. Any information would be appreciated. *Note: to those of you who requested that I forward responses to my last posting of a networking question, requests of this sort currently outnumber actual responses 3 to 1. If I don't get anything else soon, I will send you the response I got.
