I am managing a lab of 20 386 machines.  We would like to avoid them
being used under VPIX and get some *real* Unix software for them.  They
are in a starLAN to a 3B2/1000 server.  I am extremely interested in
any leads to the following:

	SPICE, or other flavors of the same
	VHDL --> very, very interested    
	MATH applications like MATlab, etc

We can run under Open Look.  Write if you have any experience with
software, especially the non-mega-$$$ type...
