I got a problem with windows... (actually, I have quite a few, but at this time, this seems to be the most serious).. Basically, Windows pukes and throws me out to the DOS command line whenever I try to access either of my floppy drives with a low density (720k or 360k) disk. I have 5.25 and a 3.5 drives. Has anyone else had this problem?? It is rather strange since I have only had this problem with Windows (installation didn't even like my drives!!!), and it only seems to be with low density drives. ALSO: I corrected another problem with my modem. The line device=combuff (or something like that) I removed because windows would lock up my computer tighter than Fort Knox whenever I tried to access my modem, even AFTER exiting Windows. I don't know if this problem is connected, but now ZMODEM in my version of Telix does not work under Windows.. Here is my system config, in case one wants to know: 486/25 AMI BIOS (dated 4/90, I believe) 4MB RAM 105 MB Toshiba IDE hard drive Windows 3.0 Tseng Labs 4000 based graphics card (more problems here... that's another message) 5.25 inch floppy (A:) 3.5 inch floppy (B:) Any help or experience would be appreciated... (PLEASE email me with responses.. Thank you) -gmw
