Summary: How can I run a program or a shell in an application window? We are developing an application system based on Wcl. In order to get up quickly, we would like to be able to run an existing, text-only interactive program in a window of the application. I would like the window to be a sibling of the other main windows and for the application to control its mapping -- therefore, it is not desirable to simply run XTerm in parallel with the main application. The program in question does not need a full terminal emulator -- a simple scrolling text window would be fine. Environment is currently a Sun 3, later to be an SGI workstation. Can I do this under Wcl, Motif or X? If so, how? Thanks. Bruce Bon
