Subject: Sharp VCR Tracking Adjustment

I have an old (>5 years) 2-head Sharp VHS VCR. It works fine except that now
the front panel tracking control runs out of adjustment range before the noise 
bar disappears. Can I (as an EE and experienced tinkerer) get inside the box
and adjust the tracking so the front panel control is "centered" again?
