This makes you independent of snorkeling for 'weeks'. On the Swedish sub now undergoing sea trials, the ordinary bank of batteries is retained, and power both from them and the Stirling is fed to the engines for 'dash speed', limiting this to some 5 or 10 hours. -- Urban Fredriksson | I speak ONLY Stockholm, Sweden | for myself!
