I recently replaced my ancient 286 with a 386sx board, 
because I had purchased an ST-251-1, and the old bios
didn't have an entry for it.  I reset it to 40 Mb (from
the 32, before) and low/highlevel formatted it. Now
I get cross-link file messages.  (DOS 4.01 ..!!)
All diags that I run come out clean  Memory, sys bd.,
disk.....
I haven't had cross-linked files since '81 -

Any suggestions, please?
