I am looking for comparisons of C and C++ for
developing large, portable (among UNIX platforms)
software systems. I am helping evaluate what direction
to take for future software systems. I have developed
several small and large software systems in C.

Considerations:
--------------
	- Performance
	- Portability
	- Time/effort and success in (re)training staff 
	- Affects on software reliability, maintenance, testing

Where can I find magazine articles, case studies, etc.?
I'd also be interested in hearing anyone's personal 
case study.  Thank you.
