Hi Netlan',
   It looks like this is the best place to ask this:
I am interested in subscribing to a bulletin board service or 
otherwise hooking into the internet without using my account 
at work (i.e. a direct connection from my modem). I've heard
a few different BBSs, and imagine there must be more I don't
know about. What are the most popular ones? What are subscription
costs, utilities, etc.? 
   Also, I'm thinking about starting an electronic magazine. 
How does one go about it?
