Which to use ? Message-ID: <1991Apr11.202723.19874@logixwi.uucp> Date: 11 Apr 91 20:27:23 GMT Organization: Logix GmbH, Wiesbaden, W-Germany Lines: 21 Hello World, The Subject line says a lot of it. Which program should be used ? I have an SCO UNIX 3.2 machine. We do quite a lot of mail inside our company, and have two or three hookups to the outside world, to which we connect with UUCP so far (TCP/IP in future). So far we have been using /bin/mail or Elm as MUA, and MMDF as MTA, primarily because SCO has MMDF. The questions: Why change from MMDF ? Are other programs (sendmail, smail) better ? Will they do what MMDF does (aliasing, ...) ? I would very much appreciate any answers, Thank you.
