about adding a trailing 'M' to each lineof uuencoded data:

a trailing 'M' is pure junk, a trailing 'running' letter gives a
sequence check which helps you if there were some lines lost -- this
may occur if several parts are put together.

missing trailing blanks are no problem with the new MINIX uud program.
