The host adapter is an Adaptec 1542b. When I booted the machien, the controller found drives 0 and 1, and as usual assigned them to drives "C" and "D". Immediately after that, it displayed the message "Your PC is now Stoned!" This message only appeared when booting DOS from a floppy. I guess this must be Adaptec's way of saying I need a special driver in order to access more than 2 scsi drives from DOS. Unfortunately, ESIX won't boot either. hmmm... Last time I added a drive, the boot drive got wiped and I had to re-install. grrr.
