Message-ID: <1258@VAX1.CC.UAKRON.EDU> Date: 12 Apr 91 01:21:57 GMT Reply-To: wiggins@VAX1.CC.UAKRON.EDU (Rick Wiggins) Organization: U of Akron, Ohio Lines: 17 Has anyone heard of a method to support NJE over a TCP/IP connection between a 3090 running MVS and Unix workstations? We would like to make our 3090 more accessable to our faculty and students who are not on our VM/CMS system. Is this possible? If such a thing were to become available, how many of you would be interested in using it? As an aside, we are also interested in supporting this from DOS and Mac based machines. I would appreciate hearing your ideas and suggestions about this. If there is enough interest, I will post a summary of what I find out. -- Rick Wiggins The University of Akron RickWiggins@UAkron.Edu Computer Center, Room 144E (216) 972-7183 Akron, Ohio 44325-3501 The ZIPnet Network Information Center can be reached at: NIC@UAkron.Edu
