Our network currently consists of 23 routers (cisco) connecting large (600+ hosts) LANs. The router network will be expanded to bring in another 250-350 LANs (mostly much smaller LANS than are now on the network). We currently have no network management hardware or software (for the WAN stuff). We have looked at cisco's NetCentral Station, but have heard mixed reviews of this product from other users (too slow, can't handle very large networks, etc.). Any information, experiences, war stories, etc. will be greatly appreciated. We have our hands full managing the current 23 routers, I can't immagine 400 of them!
